Welcome to UNG
Hi! I am the chaplain, Father John. Episcopal Campus Ministry is a student organization that creates a supportive community for students. You are welcome whereever you may be on your spiritual path. We provide fellowship, formation, prayer, and service in the tradition of the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement.
Our informal mission is: "Whoever walks through our door will receive the unconditional love of Jesus."
We will have a planning meeting at Chic Fil A, Tuesday, August 12 at 5:30 PM. We will talk about the coming year. All are welcome to that meeting, though it will have a "business" feel to it.
Our First Official Meeting of the Year will be August 19 at 5:30 PM at a location to be announced. We will have a meal, possibly a program and a Eucharist. (TBD at the business meeting.)
Meetings always have a meal, prayer, welcome and fellowship. They usually also have a program, activity or Eucharist.
To keep up with our news join our GroupMe using this LINK.
If you would like to connect with the chaplain, me, before the meeting, or whenever really, you can text me at (914) 512-8156.
It will be great to meet you and travel the college pilgrimage with you!

A Good Prayer for any Time of Transition
Almighty and eternal God, so draw our hearts to you, so guide our minds, so fill our imaginations, so control our wills, that we may be wholly yours, utterly dedicated to you; and then use us, we pray, as you will, and always to your glory and the welfare of you people; through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
A Good Scripture for the Beginning of the Year
Place Your Life Before God
Romans 12 1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
All are Welcome - No Exceptions
